Why Would Moffett Be Interested In Me?
Tom Moffett, our founder, set very high standards when he started our company in 1969, recruiting the best people in our industry and investing in them to build the finest plumbing company in Orange County. We really consider Moffett Plumbing to be a family. Our family. We don’t hire anyone we wouldn’t want working in our own homes. That’s why all of our technicians are licensed, insured, and regularly drug tested.
If you’re ready to commit to your future as much as we are and to significantly better your family’s future, we should talk.
How Do I Apply?
We encourage you to use our career inquiry form above, or call us at (714) 465-5667, or mail your resume to Mike Moffett, 1863 N Neville St, Orange, CA 92865.
What Should I Expect Once I Apply?
- Let us know you are interested in working with Moffett Plumbing & Air (see How Do I Apply?).
- We’ll call you to set up the first interview with Kevin, our operations manager. We typically interview applicants three times. It helps us to get to know them better.
- The final interview is with Mike. He’s our president. Getting this far is a sign that you’ve made a good first and second impression.
I Submitted My Application. Why Haven’t I Heard Back?
Our hiring process seems to take a long time because we’re pretty selective about whom we invite into our family. We promise that we will get in touch with everyone who applies.
How Should I Dress For My Interviews?
The nicer you look the easier it will be for us to imagine sending you into people’s homes to represent us. Don’t wear a business suit, but do consider a shirt with a collar. (However, if you’re going to wear a tee-shirt, you’ll score extra points if it’s a Van Halen tour shirt. They’re Kevin’s favorite band.) Wrinkled clothing looks unprepared, so break out the steam iron.
